Kids to Kids is a national charitable non-profit organization, 501 (C) (3). Founded in 1976, our mission is to meet the needs of the less fortunate who slip through the cracks of society. Our goal is to assist where needed, keeping the anonymity of the individual and/or family, and help them return to society as a self respected individual who will be a contribution to the community in which they live. Although the Holidays are important events for children and families, needs of various areas are called to our attention regularly. By working closely with the homeless shelters, schools, law enforcement, Church groups, homeless and anonymous referrals we try to meet the variety of special needs as they come our way. Food, clothing, medical supplies and child care referral, to name a few, are tended to on a constant basis. This corporation is founded in the belief that has as its primary goal endeavored to meet the charitable needs of the less fortunate no matter their socio/economic background and that children will respond favorably to a professionally designed experience in living which would offer all the qualities currently believed to be therapeutic, i.e., a structured, warm, nurturing, healthful “home” environment. As a result, we operate a loving home for displaced adolescent girls.
